Hey friends! I wanted to share this super easy and fun little craft that I created to love on my kids even more this month. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I thought it would be super fun to use the new heart stamp that I got in the latest, “When Love Finds You” devotional kit from Illustrated Faith.
You don’t have to have this exact stamp (I’m sure you probably have a large heart stamp in your stash or even a large heart punch you could use.
All I did was stamp on white cardstock with a pretty coral color ink from The Stamp Market. Then I cut them each out, very easily, leaving some of the white border because I’m horrible at fussy cutting and actually hate it. Ha!
Then I wrote a little note to my child about something that I love about them.
Then you simply take a bit of painter’s tape, pop a bit on the back and stick it on your kid’s bedroom door. You can put them all on the door at once, or just add a new one every day of the month or every day leading up until the 14th.
I used to do this every year when my kids were little and decided to bring it back this year and they are loving it.
Just one more way to spread a little love and remind your kids just how awesome they are, how much you love them and how proud of them you are.
Oh, and if you don’t have kids, you can do this for your spouse, your significant other, your friend, a co-worker … so many others ways you can use these and you can just make them little love notes and included them in lunches, leave them around the house, put them on a mirror, etc. The ideas are endless, but just pull out a favorite heart stamp and create a little love note for someone you love.
Here’s to spreading a bit more love this month!
Love YOU, friend! XO!
