You could say that I’m bit of an organizing freak and well, I’m totally ok with that, so I wanted to share a simple little organizing hack with you if you’re like me and have lots of bits + pieces when it comes to your scrapbooking stash.
I love collecting little dishes, bowls and I’m always buying little organizing things and one thing that I love to do is use the top drawer of this IKEA Alex Drawer Unit and put some of those little bowls and dishes to work for me holding all sorts of bits + baubles that I have. Not only does it look super cute, but it’s a great little organizing hack because you can group things by type and then open up the drawer and easily reach for what you need.
These little bowls and containers are super easy to move around, take out and put on my scrapbook table and definitely easy to fill! Ha!
My favorite places to find little dishes and bowls are antique stores. Looking through antique stores is one of my most favorite past times and I usually always come out of one with a little dish, bowl or basket. The plastic organizers are from a local craft store and the little tray was purchased at Illustrated Faith, but I believe they’re out of stock now.
So if you are needing a little home for all of your random bits + pieces that you love – open up a drawer, put in some bowls, baskets and containers and fill them with things you love. You’ll love looking at them and I bet you that you’re more likely to USE them, which honestly is the goal, right? Well … most of them. Some things are too cute to use! Ha! Am I right?
If you have a favorite way to organize and hold all of your favorite little embellishments – I’d love to hear about it! XO!
