I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Kristina, and this is my husband, Michael, and our three kids, Caylin, Jack & Luke and we live in Huntsville, Alabama. I’m a Jesus lovin’, homeschooling, life documenting, oil diffusin’ Mama who has a heart for all things creative and I love spreading joy & Jesus.

In this space you’ll find a mixture of things that I love! Jesus, family & documenting at the top of that list!

I was saved in 2001, lost everything I owned in a fire one month after I was married back in 2002, started photographing and documenting my life in 2003, and had our daughter diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 5 in 2011. Those are just some of the life-altering events that have shaped me into who I am today. That is what “Proof of a Good Life” is all about. I want my life to be a shining light for Christ and to be living proof of a loving God.

All of the things we walk through in our lives shape us into who God wants us to become so He can use us for His glory.

I love joy and I wanted a little spot here on the internet where I could share the root of my joy … JESUS! Joy can be found in the simplest of things. It can be found in the cracks of brokenness that we experience. It can be found in heartache and disappointment. It can be found in photographing your journey and your loved ones and documenting the stories of your life all along the way. It can be found in creating a healthy home for your family or nurturing & teaching your children in the trenches of motherhood. But yes, most importantly, it can be found in the One who gave His life for us … Jesus.

Joy is everywhere. Sometimes you have to look a little harder to find it, but it’s there. So here’s to celebrating joy in our lives and remembering God’s promises to us as we navigate our lives and choose every day to follow Him and His will for us.
