I get a lot of requests to share a bit about what Bible I use and what Bible resources & devotionals that I love so that’s what this is going to be all about.
MY BIBLE
I have four different Bibles currently – a couple of KJV Journal the Word Bibles that you can find HERE and also an MEV and an ESV Bible, too. I am currently using the Crossway ESV Single Column Journaling Bible that you can find HERE. I love this Bible. I love wide margins because I love to take notes in my Bible. I’m not afraid to write in my Bible, highlight scripture in my Bible and take notes of what speaks to me or stands out to me. I also take sermon notes in my Bible as well.
When it comes to Bibles, I am very careful to get a good translation – that’s why I love KJV and ESV. You have to be careful with some translations of the Bible because they water down God’s Word and omit certain important things. Just use discernment for sure when picking a Bible and translation. I do think it’s a good idea to compare different translations at times while studying God’s Word, just be careful which ones you use.
I love using the e-Sword Bible app on my phone and desktop to do some comparing of translations or when I want to read God’s Word on the go and don’t have my physical Bible.
Another great Bible is the Spiral Bible.
If you love taking notes in your Bible and love a good spiral notebook, then this Bible is for sure to be one that you love digging into. They only have a few translations so far, but I am loving the KJV New Testament spiral Bible that I got. It lays flat, you can highlight and add all of the notes, stickers and stamping you want – it’s great! You definitely need to check it out!

Digging into God’s Word daily is one of the best ways to grow in faith and get to know the Lord. It’s not always easy to get into scripture every day, but I do know that on the days that I fill my soul up with God’s Word first, my day is better and I’m more fulfilled. That’s not a coincidence. I pray that sharing these tools will help you and encourage you to get into the Word more or for the first time. I’m always here if you have any questions or need prayer of any kind. XO.
